OWN IT Stampede Breakfast: Muslim Community Members welcome Calgarians to enjoy pancakes, Halal meat and drinks at the first annual OWN IT Institute Stampede Breakfast. 9am-12pm Confederation Park, 10th St and Cambrian Dr. Site #4.

Pho Down 2016: Pho-lovers unite! The Pho Down is a competition and free Pho event taking place on International Ave. Competition begins at 11am, followed by a spring roll eating competition, then select Pho restaurants open their doors for a big bowl Pho! all for a donation to The Alex Food Centre. Can’t get any better. Reserve Tickets online. 11am at Albert Park Radisson Community Association and various sites.

Indian Village: Visit the Indian Village’s new location in ENMAX Park on the Stampede Grounds. The larger space features 26 tipis set up in a traditional circle. Try the traditional Bannock, and watch the adult pow wow at 3 p.m.

3LAU: Country music not your thing? American progressive house and electro house producer 3LAU (Justin Blau) is playing at Flames Central with Blueprint Resident DJs: GCR, CRUPTION, and YANDR. Tickets are $40. Doors at 9 p.m., 18+ only.

Late Night Pancake Breakfast: A send off to Stampede wouldn’t be complete without pancakes…and a beer. Head to National on 8th for a late night pancake breakfast on their patio in partnership with Wild Rose Brewery. They are serving up free pancakes and sausage beginning at 9 p.m.
