Only 41 days left until the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth hits the city once again and we could not be more ready. The Coca-Cola stage is one of the highlights for the average Stampede goer, as the line-up is usually pretty great and you don’t have to stand in a sweaty gross line to see the performers (Ahem, Nashville North). This year the Coca-Cola stage will once again not disappoint!
Last night at the sixth annual Coca-Cola Covert Concert, the much-anticipated line-up of the Coca-Cola stage was revealed to hundreds of screaming fans packed into Flames Central. The night was broken up into two exclusive performances. The first performance was by the blues/alternative band from Toronto, July Talk. They did an undoubtedly fantastic job at getting the night off to a rolling start and getting people hyped for what was to come. After the full stage line-up was announced, the night was then ended with a bang from the CCMA award winner Albertan, Brett Kissel.
During his performance Brett Kissel mentioned that “Country music is about telling a story”- and his songs do just that! He went on to give us a little background on his different songs such as the love story of “3,2,1” and his inspiration behind “Tough People Do.” This added a personal touch to his unreal and engaging performance. It was the perfect way to end the night and get the audience hyped for this year’s Stampede!
The line-up for the Coca-Cola stage this year is a showcase of talent and diversity, giving the not-so Country savvy audiences a bit of a break from all the twang. Here is a list of the full line-up, be sure to mark your calendars and don’t miss out on the performances from these award winning artists!
